Since he was a little child, Rice has been a Yankees fan, and Derek Jeter is his favorite player. He stated during a discussion on the “Foul Territory” podcast:

“There’s still a Derek Jeter poster in my old bedroom. Additionally, it’s situated directly next to the Yankees jersey I wore on the day of the first-grade photo.

Rice recently accomplished a feat never before accomplished by a rookie for the Yankees. He smashed three home runs on Saturday, helping the Bronx Bombers defeat the Boston Red Sox 14–4, which was an incredible triumph for the squad.

Rice was excited about his performance but confused of what to do for his first curtain call at Yankee Stadium after hitting his third home run in the seventh inning. He gave his teammates a high five before rushing to the other side of the dugout for his curtain call:

“I am aware of what a curtain call is. That’s what they were trying to persuade me to do, but I just didn’t realize that. I believe I was still only sort of. At that point, you had completely blacked out. Ben Rice remarked, “I’m happy with how I handled it; it was cool.”

Ben Rice is ecstatic about his team’s significant victory and astounding accomplishment.
