Aaron Judge: Crushing Home Runs, Savoring Beautiful Dogs, and Spreading Puppy Love

The All-Rise recently provided the voice of Rubble & Crew, a popular children’s cartoon that is a spin-off of PAW Patrol. Playing himself in the episode, Judge interacts with a group of construction puppies who build him a customized ballpark so he can take part in a home run derby. Judgey’s dedication to fostering collaboration and building relationships with young fans—as well as some much-needed puppy love, similar to what he receives back home—is highlighted by this unexpected role.

Judge is especially fond of Penny, his first Dachshund. Even though he has brought her to Yankee Stadium on several occasions, Gus’s viral on-field incident took center stage. Aaron Judge reassures us that Penny is fine with sharing her attention with her younger brother in spite of this.

Judgey’s social media activities and interviews both demonstrate his sincere love for his dogs. He also dubbed Penny a “little piece of his heart,” describing Gus as a “superstar” and posting cute pictures of the two of them having fun on adventures. This statement is sure to ring true with dog lovers everywhere.

Aaron Judge demonstrates that being a baseball hero doesn’t always mean forsaking the small pleasures of being a dog dad, whether it’s a playdate with a Sopranos star and their Dachshund, a cameo for Gus on the field, or just spending precious moments together with Penny. Who knows? Perhaps this is just the start of a brand-new Yankees dynasty, one based on hot dogs, home runs, and a ton of puppy love!

Recently, the All-Rise voiced Rubble & Crew, a well-liked children’s program that is a PAW Patrol spin-off. In the episode, Judge plays himself, and he meets a bunch of construction pups who build him a personalized stadium so he can participate in a home run derby. This unexpected role highlights Judgey’s commitment to encouraging teamwork and developing relationships with young fans—as well as some much-needed puppy love, similar to what he receives back home.

Judge’s first Dachshund, Penny, is particularly beloved. Though he has taken her to Yankee Stadium multiple times, Gus’s widely shared on-field mishap stole the show. Despite this, Aaron Judge tells us that Penny is okay with sharing her attention with her younger brother.

Judgey shows his genuine affection for his pets in both interviews and social media posts. Together with calling Penny a “little piece of his heart,” he also called Gus a “superstar” and shared adorable photos of the two of them having a good time on travels. Dog lovers everywhere are bound to agree with this statement.

Aaron Judge shows that being a baseball great doesn’t always mean sacrificing the little joys of being a dog dad, whether it’s hanging out with Penny and Penny’s dog, going on a playdate with a Sopranos star and their Dachshund, or just making a baseball cameo for Gus. Who knows? Maybe this is only the beginning of a new Yankees dynasty built on hot dogs, home runs, and a whole lot of puppy love!

Aaron Judge said, “We might have a Dachshund club, so I think the Yankees need to have like a little dog day or something like that, so we can bring them all out and, you know, have our little powwow,” in response to a question concerning the likelihood that this “Dachshund club” would actually come to pass. Because of their mutual affection for these short-legged furballs, the Bombers star and the Sopranos legend are suddenly generating rumors about a possible partnership. Given that Schirripa is presently in New York City, who knows? Maybe their wishes will be granted!

Judge, incidentally, adores pets outside of his own house. He remembers Rookie, the unofficial batboy from his Double-A days in Trenton, with fondness. After every hit, Judge’s bat would be retrieved by a stadium-frequenting dog named Rookie, leaving it covered in bite marks—the finest conceivable testament to a triumphant game. But Judge’s bond with dogs extends beyond this aspect of his life.
